Who we are:

The Coven of the Crow was officially born on Ostara, March 20, 2007 at 9 p.m., at Willow Hill. We are located in the Herkimer, NY region.

Our ceremonial birthing was witnessed on June 23, 2007 along with the Coven of the White Owl, surrounded by our brothers and sisters of the Covens of the Hawks and Herons. Our beloved High Priestess Lady Hawke of the Coven of the Hawk, along with our as beloved Lady Blaze and Lord Mouse of the Coven of the Heron celebrated and led the ritual at their home, Witchwood.

The official status of non provisional coven was granted at Witchstock, 2007, with the elevation to third degree of the Crow's High Priestess, Lady Awen, formally known as Lady Janina of the Topaz Moon, a former student and member of the Hawks.

The Coven of the Crow grew from an informal gathering of friends who took on the name Willow Hill Circle, in the early part of 2006. By December, 2006, the foundation of the Crows was forming and by Imbolc, 2007, we knew it was a matter of time before a coven would be born.

What we do:

We continue to keep Willow Hill Circle open for Seekers, who wish to pursue a path dedicated to Goddess and God. We are a healing, teaching coven, adhering to the lessons and guidelines of Ravenmyst Circle.

The Crows meet twice monthly, to celebrate the Goddess and perform Moon Magick. Willow Hill meets as the need arises and is scheduled to meet twice yearly for open circles.

We also celebrate the Wheel of the Year in honor of our God, witnessing the glory of life and the constant cycle of change, life, death and rebirth.

A junior Dedicant level of instruction is also offered. The levels of instruction begin at Dedicant, and move on to First, Second and Third. Lessons in counseling and clergy are also offered but not required, following elevation to Third Degree.

What to expect:

Those who follow this path can expect to learn and grow in God and Goddess' love, with the supportive input of currently nine coven brothers and sisters. We gather in perfect love and perfect trust to make magic, celebrate Spirit, heal those in need and to just enjoy life, each other and have fun.

We live our lives as children of Spirit, dispelling the misinformation surrounding Wicca and being a Witch.

Being a Crow is not like joining the local civic association or garden club. Dedicating is a life choice and should be exemplified in all you do, not just at circle.
